Join us for this enlightening class, where we celebrate the unique intersection of disability and kink, providing a space for learning, sharing, and embracing the richness of diverse experiences within the Central Coast Kink Community.

The LocalEnby2000 and DancingInTheSnow will be going over disability terminology, and dive deep into what disability and kink can look like. From managing symptoms to dealing with flare-ups, to how variable disabilities can be (between people and even one person’s day-to-day life). There will be a discussion focused on effective communication of needs and limits related to disability within your partnerships. Presenters will share different ways to utilize safewords, incorporating symptom management into scenes, examples of disability-aware aftercare, and share some available resources.

It is important to note that the spectrum of disabilities is wide and varied, and that the presenters are speaking from their lived experiences. If time allows, there may be a discussion portion at the end where disabled audience members can bring up their lived experiences as well — the presenters want to ensure that as wide a range as possible of disability is represented, and all voices are heard.
